So… I’m not normally one to vent online in long form, but I haven’t really had any friends around me today so indulge me for a moment. I’ll probably delete this later anyway but never mind. Just need to write it down.

I found out this afternoon that a friend I used to work with passed away over the weekend. The shitty thing is he was only 43 and died of a heart attack. There are so many people who are selfish, obsessed with the wrong things in life etc. He was the total opposite. A warm, friendly guy who when you saw him always put a smile on your face and you looked forward to talking to. When someone like my grandparents pass away, that makes sense. Especially after seeing them suffer, and knowing they’ve had a good life, you can make peace with that.

When someone dies so young, and still so vibrant it’s hard to reconcile that the place where they should be, they won’t. And that you’ll never bump into them again or pick up the phone and ask their opinion on something. They’re just.. Gone. All I can take out of it is that I should let the people who matter know it, and that the world is a horrible place some days. Anyway, that’s me done… Rest in peace mate, you’ll be missed.
